Here's a photo of campus today. Snowy & sunny & gorgeous. I did a short lecture last night on Lord of the Rings & the history of the English language. It went really well, so I'm pretty happy about that. As much as I find research & writing engaging I really am mostly interested in teaching I think, or at least research & writing as means towards teaching, not ends in themselves.
